The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially invited bids for sponsorship rights of the Indian cricket team, following the conclusion of its deal with Dream11. The fantasy sports platform had been the team's lead sponsor but has now stepped away, prompting the BCCI to look for a new partner ahead of the upcoming cricket season.
In a public notice, the board called on well-established companies to express interest in the team’s sponsorship rights. These rights cover branding on team jerseys during both domestic and international matches, among other promotional benefits. The BCCI has made the tender process open and transparent, giving all eligible companies a chance to participate.
This move comes at a time when Indian cricket continues to draw significant global attention. With a packed calendar ahead, including major bilateral series and ICC events, the BCCI is keen to secure a sponsor that can support and align with the team’s long-term visibility.
Interested bidders will need to purchase the tender document and meet certain eligibility criteria set by the board. The deadline and detailed terms have been made available on the official BCCI website.
