JEE Advanced Supreme Court Hearing: The petitioners stated that they had already registered in engineering institutes and had passed their Class 12 exams in 2023. However, when the number of possible tries was raised from two to three, they began preparing for JEE Advanced 2025.The Joint Admission Board (JAB) was ordered by the Supreme Court on Friday to permit students who completed their studies between November 5 and November 18, 2024, to register for the JEE Advanced.This was revealed by the highest court during a hearing on an appeal contesting a recent modification to JEE Advanced attempts.

The Joint Admission Board (JAB) opted to reinstate the former eligibility criterion applied in prior years, one month after increasing the number of attempts for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced from two to three this year.The Joint Admission Board (JAB) was ordered by the Supreme Court on Friday to permit students who completed their studies between November 5 and November 18, 2024, to register for the JEE Advanced. This was revealed by the highest court during a hearing on an appeal contesting a recent modification to JEE Advanced attempts.
