Many states have declared school holidays in advance so that children can attend the event, including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Maharashtra, Assam, Tripura, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Gujarat.A number of states or the federal government have declared January 22 to be a public holiday or half-day in honor of the forthcoming 'Pran Prathishtha' ceremony for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. This is a significant Hindu occasion.All federal government offices will be closed for half a day on January 22 in observance of the Pran Pratishta ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol at the Ayodhya Ram Temple, according to a Thursday announcement from the Department of Personnel and Training.Live from Ayodhya Ram Mandir India will commemorate the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya on January 22, 2024. The message stated, "It has been decided that all central government offices, central institutions, and central industrial establishments throughout India will be closed for half a day until 1430 hours on January 22 to enable employees to participate in the celebrations."Check out the following list of states: 1) Tripura: According to officials, all government offices and educational institutions in the state would be closed until 2:30 pm on January 22 in order to allow staff members to take part in the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha celebrations in Ayodhya. Asim Sahai, the Deputy Secretary of the Government of Tripura, issued the directive.2) Chhattisgarh: In light of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai declared on Thursday that all government offices will be closed until 2:30 pm.3) Uttar Pradesh: Education institutions are to close on that day, and all liquor stores in the state would be closed, per Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's directive.4) Madhya Pradesh: In an effort to encourage people to celebrate the day like a festival, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has proclaimed a school holiday. Additionally, a dry day has been declared, with all stores—including those selling alcohol and cannabis—closing. In honor of the dedication of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, all government offices and institutions in Madhya Pradesh will be closed for thirty minutes, officials announced on Friday. Late on Thursday night, the state government announced that offices will be closed until 2:30 pm on January 22.5) Goa: In honor of the 'pran pratishtha' ritual at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, the Goa government has declared a vacation for both government workers and schools.6) Haryana: In light of the opening of the Ram Temple, the Haryana government has declared that schools will be closed on January 22. On the day of the consecration event, no location in the state will allow the use of alcohol.7) Odisha: To commemorate the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, all Odisha government offices will be closed for half a day.

The government of Odisha is pleased to announce that, in light of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya, all state government offices, revenue offices, and magistrate courts (executive) will be closed from 12:30 to 2:30 pm on Monday, January 22, 2024.8) Assam: In honor of the consecration ceremony for the Ram temple that would take place in Ayodhya on January 22, the Assam government announced on Thursday that January 22 will be a half-holiday. Due to the half-holiday on January 22, all state government offices and educational institutions will be closed until 2:30 PM.9) Rajasthan: In light of the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the Rajasthani government on Thursday announced a half-day holiday in the state on January 22. According to a spokeswoman, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma made the announcement of the BJP Legislature Party meeting, which took place at the party's headquarters here on Thursday night. 10) Gujarat: In honor of the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, all government offices in Gujarat will be closed for a half-day, officials announced on Friday. Late on Thursday night, the state government sent out a letter about the offices' closure till 2:30 pm on January 22, they claimed. 11) Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Union Territory administration announced the closure of the Ram Temple ceremony on Friday in observance of the holiday.
