Marathi manoos' are being attacked more frequently after the BJP won the Maharashtra elections: Raut

He also said that an atmosphere is being created to expel them from Mumbai and the surrounding areas.In an interview with reporters, Raut brought up an instance in Thane district's Kalyan when a Marathi-speaking family was allegedly attacked by non-Marathi speakers.In addition, he called the Maharashtra government "inauspicious" for the 14 fatalities that resulted from the accident of a passenger ferry and a navy boat. He claimed that killings and dacoity were occurring in districts and villages.
According to the Sena (UBT) leader, the BJP undermined the Shiv Sena, a "organisation of Marathi manoos," and broke it apart, treating the locals as second-class citizens while giving Mumbai and the surrounding areas to non-Marathi-speaking businesspeople and builders."Since the state assembly elections, attacks on Marathi manoos have escalated. An atmosphere is being developed to prevent Marathi manoos from residing in Thane and Kalyan, and efforts are on to expel them from Mumbai," he stated. Raut attacked Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, claiming that members of the administration who identify as the Shiv Sena are incompetent and unconcerned about the Kalyan tragedy.
