She was one of the five kids that were saved when the fire started last Saturday night. There were six more dead.A major fire broke out on May 26, around 10.55 p.m., due to a probable short circuit in the generator that was kept on the building's top. It quickly moved to the hospital's oxygen cylinder storage, causing several explosions. Almost thirty to thirty-five minutes later, sixteen fire tenders were dispatched to the scene.
The neonatal facility lacked both an appropriate fire-combat plan and a fire NOC (no-objection certificate), according to the fire department.The facility's owner, Dr. Naveen Khichi, and his shift worker, Dr. Akash, were taken into custody on Sunday night.Additionally, hospitals that refer kids to the neonatal unit will be questioned by police. An officer declared, "We will examine the hospitals about whether they verified the Vivek Vihar hospital's accreditation before sending the patients there, and where the neonates were first admitted.On Wednesday, the police announced that they had taken testimonies from fifteen people, including hospital employees and relatives of the newborns.
