The DoE instructed all school heads in a circular to institute ten bagless days for children in grades six through eight.Guidelines for the implementation of ten bagless days at Delhi's public and private schools were released by the Directorate of Education on Tuesday.According to the National Education Policy 2020 suggestion, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) created the rules, which are "aimed at making learning at school an experiential, joyful, and stress-free experience for students," the circular stated."Activities can be carefully selected to make the most use of the resources at the school's disposal.

"Bagless days may include bagless activities carried out during the Happiness Curriculum or excursion visits, etc.," it continued.Students may visit historical monuments, cultural landmarks, craft stores, tourist attractions, and many more locations as long as they follow these rules. According to the recommendations, they can interact with artists and craftspeople to increase their knowledge of other ideas and customs and to help them recognize the value of conserving cultural heritage.
