With the release of "Tribhanga" on Netflix in 2021, the actor made her OTT debut."Exploring new formats is always a challenge; but it's a great thing as I love to take challenges head-on," Kajol remarked, sharing her delight.  The idea has always appealed to me as a huge lover of digital series, and after seeing great episodes like Aarya and Rudra, I realized that Disney+ Hotstar was the best place to begin my series journey."Disney Star's Head of Content, Gaurav Banerjee, stated, "We are thrilled to have a renowned actor like Kajol join us and enchant audiences with her ethereal screen magic. We are embarking on a brand-new adventure with the adored star to deliver a special tale of love, feelings, and family."The plot and the identity of the project's developer are among the information that the streaming service has not yet disclosed. Kajol hinted to her debut series in a recent interview with PTI, stating that production would soon begin. "I'm going to launch the OTT program shortly. It's a narrative of a woman's journey," she'd remarked.New Delhi: The Walt Disney Company's video streaming service,Disney+ Hotstar, has revealed that its newest series, The Trial, starring Kajol, would premiere on July 14.
