BPSC CCE 70th paper leak controversy: The BPSC Chairman stated that CCTV footage from the center will be examined, and anyone who attempted to cause trouble will face harsh criminal penalties.Parmar Ravi Manubhai, the chairman of the BPSC, denied claims on Friday that several candidates leaked papers during the 70th Integrated Combined Competitive Examination (CCE), 2024 preliminary exams at Patna's Bapu Pariksha Bhavan. "The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) exam has not been compromised. Around 12:30 pm, we got reports of some students making a scene during the exam, but that was after everyone had sat down and had cut off all communication with the outside world, Manubhai told IndianExpress.com.
While the invigilators were handing the question papers, several antisocial individuals dressed as students began stealing them and yelling that the question paper had already gone viral online. Unless they wanted to cause a commotion, students who have been in the exam room for the last fifteen to twenty minutes would not be aware that the question paper has gone viral.Following this, they hurried out of the test room with the question paper envelope and tossed it across the border to distribute to a few individuals who were waiting outside the center. They created a commotion and made photocopies of the question papers at 1:10 pm since they were unable to upload them to the internet from within the center due to powerful jammers and a lack of phones. We have CCTV footage from the center that will be examined, and anyone who have attempted to cause issues for any of the candidates will face harsh criminal penalties," the chairman continued.
