Bihar's religious procession sparks a fight, and Jamui's internet services are suspended.

According to an official on Monday, the state government of Bihar suspended internet connections in the district after a fight broke out between two clans during a religious procession in Jamui. According to Jamui District Magistrate Abhilasha Sharma, nine people were arrested in connection with the Sunday brawl in Jhajha, which left three people injured.According to her, a police officer has also been suspended for failing to do their duties. In order to prevent the situation from getting worse, the district police held a flag march in Jhajha on Monday. According to the official, a case has been filed against 50–60 unnamed people.

"The event happened yesterday during a religious procession in Jhajha when a fight broke out between members of two communities. Three people were injured when members of both sides resorted to stone-throwing. The police quickly brought the scene under control. The district magistrate informed PTI that all of the injured were sent to the closest government hospital and that their condition was deemed to be safe.
