"With 96.36% of undergraduate applicants and 92.13% of postgraduate applicants taking the test, the exam saw an unprecedented participation rate," the official statement said.As per the detailed analysis shared by students and experts, the level of difficulty for this year’s exam as less than previous years. When compared to CLAT 2024, experts said the paper's structure remained unchanged because there were exactly the same 120 questions in each of the five sections as the previous year.

The exam for CLAT 2025 was straightforward to moderate.Contextual questions were included in the English part. A section on "How to Improve Your Life" was included. Most applicants found this section to be a scoring section because the questions were straightforward and didn't involve a lot of interpretation. A solid attempt would be 20–23 questions out of 24 with a score of 20–21.
