Gaurav Banerjee will maintain his role as Managing Director and CEO of Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI), operating officially under Culver Max Entertainment, until August 2029. Approved at the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in August 2025, this five-year extension indicates stability in leadership at one of India’s leading media and entertainment firms.Leadership Continuity and Appointments Tenure of Gaurav Banerjee After the departure of NP Singh, who served as CEO for many years, Banerjee was first appointed as Additional Director in August 2024. A shareholder resolution under the Companies Act, 2013 confirmed his promotion to the roles of full-time managing director and chief executive officer.
