The Realme Note 50, the company's first smartphone to bear the Note brand, is scheduled to launch officially on January 23. It has been confirmed that the entry-level smartphone will have an IP54 dust and splash resistance build, a 6.7-inch HD+ display, and a Unisoc chip. Francis Wong, the global marketing director and CEO of Realme Europe, has now made hints about the release of two additional Note series smartphones later this year. According to reports, the company wants to sell 10 million units by 2024.
On January 23, the Philippines will host the announcement of the first Realme Note smartphone. Francis Wong (via GSMArena) has disclosed that Realme plans to release two more Note smartphones in the upcoming months in order to increase the number of devices in the lineup. The Note lineup from Realme will be positioned in the sub-$100 (approximately Rs. 8,000) market. The series could be positioned below Redmi's Note series by the company.
By 2024, Realme wants to have sold 10 million Note series phones. The Note smartphones won't, however, be available in India. China, the home country of the company, will likewise be excluded from the Note lineup. Note smartphones will make their debut in the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Italy, Bangladesh, and Myanmar, as Realme's Vice President Qi Chase has already announced.
The Realme Note 50 will be announced on January 23 in the Philippines. It is teased to come with a price tag of PHP 3,599 (roughly Rs. 6,000). The handset is confirmed to feature a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has an IP54-rated build for dust and water resistance and a 7.99mm thickness.
